The Article Viewer

Main Window

Users of Apple's email application “Mail” (or virtually any other email application) should be fairly familiar with the layout. The article viewer window is comprised of four main areas: the toolbar, the folder/feed view, the article list, and the article view.

Subscribing

Subscribing

Within Cyndicate, click the “Subscribe” toolbar item or choose “Subscribe” from the file menu. A settings sheet that allows you to set the feed's label, schedule, default display will appear. You can also explicitly add the feed to a filter in the sheet.

Subscription Manager

Subscription Manager

Make any necessary changes to the editable information of a feed in the Subscription manager. You can also view basic statistics on the feed such as the date of the last article in it or your average rating of its articles.

Cyndicate's preferences allow you to control every aspect of it. Set the look and feel that you prefer with Cyndicate's style sheets, manage filters and label, set the social sites your share to, and much more.
